In the time of near future, Detroit is facing economic crisis with high crime rates. Alex Murphy (played by Paul Verhoeven), a police officer, was transferred from the Metro South to the West. With his partner, Anne Lois, they track down a group of criminals but ended up killed. Murphy was saved by becoming a tool for a project to save the society from crime, and now called RoboCop.
But what happened after he began having visions of his past as Murphy? A human lost his humanity by turning into a robot, but slowly the robot begins to regain its humanity.

Sex and Nudity- 5
-Robocop shoots a criminal in the family jewels between a lady victim's legs in her dress.
-We see commercials with a man and ladies are shown like he is a hustler.
-A man in a commercial is shown smashing cake to a woman's chest and she laughs enjoying it.
-Murphy's wife is in skimpy robe with her cleavage showing.
-A young corporate executive has two model ladies over his house with wine and for pure pleasure/joy. He makes out with the ladies and kisses one on the breast.
-A man/criminal is leaking in an abandoned building in front of a woman police officer.
-The woman officer is shown staring at the criminal's jewel.
-We see drunken lady kissing RoboCop while he was being finished made and everyone cat calls.
-We see two criminals go after a lady. They talk about hairs in private area and start harassing her. One criminal lifts up her skirt to 'cut' the hair but was interfered by RoboCop.
-We see men in OCP are shown using the men's restroom. One man leaked on his pants and had a wet spot. -Robocop goes into a club to find Clarence and his accomplices. One of the accomplice kicks Robocop where the family jewels are. -Clarence (criminal) hits on Dick's Secretary, Barbara, to meet him up after talking to Dick.
Violence and Gore- 9
-There are lots of gun shots overall in the movie.
-Murphy is shot mercilessly on the arm, then his body and finally the head while the criminals are laughing in pure joy while watching him in pain.
-Robocop often has visions of Murphy being shot by the criminals right before he died.
-Illegal drug dealings are shown through the dealings of criminals in a factory but RoboCop comes in and there is a whole gun battle going on with almost everyone working in the factory dead. Clarence is caught by RoboCop and thrown around through windows.
-We see criminals stealing money.
-We see a young corporate executive being shot on the legs and then blown up by a grenade in the house.
-One of the criminal got burnt by toxic waste and he runs around out of fear. His whole body is melted and he cannot even scream properly. His comrads are afraid and disgusted by him, they run away and leave him all alone. In the end Clarence runs over him with a car by accident and he gets splattered onto the car window, showing bloood and other gushes in water.
-A machine shoots a corporate worker constantly with lots of gore showing.
-The news shoes people fighting in the beginning.
-Criminals fight with a woman police officer in the police station.
-A criminal drives the bank volt car and a police car rushes after; guns are flying everywhere.
-A man is thrown towards the police car by the criminals to run away.
-A man holds the mayor and his workers for hostage to get his job back. He holds a gun and is about to shoot the mayor for Robocop comes out of nowhere and throws the criminal (Miller) out the window.
-World News of Mexican War shows armies with guns and tanks.
-A college student has a gun pointed at him while working at the gas station to give free food and gas. The criminal yells at the worker and says "You think you can outsmart a bullet?" Robocop comes and the criminal says "You're dead. We killed you" and shoots at robocop constantly. The criminal throws a lit cigarette on the floor and the gas station gets on fire while he runs away on a motorcycle. Robocop shoots the tires and the criminal crashes into a car.
-RoboCop is about to arrest Dick, but is shocked and then shut down because of Directive 4, which prevents RoboCop from arresting OCP's executives. Then Dick brings out the killing machine of his that shoots RoboCop and throws RoboCop around the whole building.
-All the police officers are ordered to shoot RoboCop and is considered to be a target for shut down after the attempt to arresting Dick. He runs away while being shot numerously everywhere in his body. He falls down the parking lot and is still shot until his ex-partner Lois comes to save him.
-A misfire of a satellite-missile is fired in Santa Barbara. Over 100 people are dead due to the big fire caused by the crisis.
-A criminal stabs a steal down to RoboCop's heart area.
-RoboCop blows up another robot guarding the OCP building with a gun.
-RoboCop comes to the OCP building and tries to arrest Dick, but Dick holds the OCP President hostage to run away. However, Dick is fired and RoboCop finally shoots Dick.
